Interview

 In one hand, in her third, fourth and fifth  year of the degree where we did the specific subject and the own subject (Fundamental or called Puras) we were just between  or  30 students. The number of girls and boys were practically the same. Although determinate the percentage of girls who studied Mathematics, it is a thing that she has interested and she has asked a long time. And  it is always the same, it seems to be the Mathematics has a special touch, which does that don’t exist change between the number of boys and girls along the time.

Secondly she told me in the rest of Techniques Universities, the boys studied Engineering and the most of girls Philosophy and Letters, the first years were common and then they chose Geography and History, Pedagogy, Spanish or English Language, Linguistic…

It is curious that in 1971 did not to demand mark for enrolling in any school or University except for Medicine.

The assessments which are just made are totally subjective because it is the memories that she has for the first four years of University where she stayed in a female College dorm.

Thirdly She saw a difference between girls and boys due to social stereotypes although that difference exist yet. She told me that it is difficult to choose a school when your parents , your teachers and your whole social environment are opposed to it.

Besides lacking female models who exercise this profession , you have to have a very clear mission or a family environment or school to support you long for overcome all difficulties.

On the other hand The role of woman as university teacher when She studied she only had three teachers, one of them taught Biology in the first course, another in third course who taught a subject like seminary. 

And the last taught problems class and se has a situation like "asociada". 
In the Spanish Mathematics universities, students women are more than 50%,“anglosajones” countries only 27% of the women and another Latin countries (Italia, España…) 17%.

Finally she said me that as a student of mathematics she did not made history because she had done it her predecessors.

They studied between in the 40s and 55s and true pioneers, who studied the early twentieth century. 

When she got to the faculty of mathematics the number of students touched 50%.
As for her studies in the School of Civil which was so scarce presence of women, she left .
The only discrimination which she found was the limited presence of university professor.
So it is true that for seven courses was associate professor of college, she tried never be Professor.
The only statistic which she has helped to improve is mathematics women who they have read the thesis.
